Min-Kai Lin - Theoretical Astrophysicist in the heart of Asia

I am a theoretical astrophysicist at the Academia Sinica Institute of Astronomy and Astrophysics in Taipei, Taiwan. I am broadly interested in planet formation and evolution, focusing on the gas and dust dynamics of protoplanetary disks, and disk-planet interaction.

About

RES01186.jpg

I was born in Taipei, Taiwan, but received most of my education in the UK. I obtained my BA, MSci, and PhD from the University of Cambridge. I then worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the Canadian Institute for Theoretical Astrophysics in Toronto, Canada, followed by a Steward Theory Fellowship at the University of Arizona, Tucson, USA. I took up my current faculty position at ASIAA in late 2016.
